Campus Safety

The safety of students, faculty, staff, and visitors is of vital concern to Texas Southmost College. Everyone within the campus community is involved in creating a safe and secure environment, and is encouraged to report all safety concerns by calling Campus Security.

Texas Southmost College contracts with off-duty Brownsville Police Officers and a security agency. Off-duty Brownsville Police Officers are stationed on-campus and work in tandem with security guards to ensure a safe and secure campus.

The contact number for Campus Security is (956) 295-3700 for non-emergency situations. When calling, please identify yourself, your location, and the situation, so that you can receive proper assistance.

If you have a medical emergency, crisis or other life-threatening situation that needs a police officer or emergency medical responder, you should immediately call 911.
